Alexander Ezechukwu, OCD is a Carmelite priest and also a trained spiritual director with many years of pastoral experience in guidance in the spiritual life. He holds a licence in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome. Alex also serves as CACS’s Director of Programmes.
Heather Ward, OCDS is a Carmelite with many years of experience in spiritual guidance. She holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham and an M.Ed. from Maryvale Institute, Birmingham. She teaches a number of modules on Carmelite spirituality for the Carmelite Institute for Britain and Ireland (CIBI) and has written many articles in scholarly journals.
Odile Rimbert is a consecrated member of the Carmelite secular institute of Notre-Dame de Vie. She lectures at the University of London where she also leads a team of lecturers. For many years, she has been teaching and leading retreats, particularly in relation to the lives and writings of the Carmelite saints St Teresa of Avila and Blessed Marie-Eugene.
Liam Finnerty, OCD is a Carmelite priest and serves as the prior of the Carmelite community at Boars Hill, Oxford. He holds degrees in Theology and Social Work from Milltown Institute, Dublin and Glasgow University, respectively. Liam has many years of experience in retreat ministry and mentoring.
Julienne McLean practices as a psychologist and Jungian analyst and also teaches at St Mary’s University College, Strawberry Hill, London and Sarum College, Salisbury. For many years, she has led retreats, workshops and study groups throughout the UK. Julienne is well published, and her book ‘Towards Mystical Union’ (St Pauls, 2003, 2013), is a modern spiritual and psychological commentary on St Teresa’s classic text on contemplative prayer ‘The Interior Castle’.
Anne Harris, OCDS is a Carmelite with particular interest in the study of the Scriptures which she has taught for several years in the parish setting. She holds graduate degrees in Philosophy and Divinity from Ottawa University and Maryvale Institute, Birmingham, respectively. Anne is an excellent speaker and writer, and a number of her articles have appeared in Mount Carmel magazine.
Thaddeus Ekuma, OCD is a Carmelite priest with many years of pastoral experience and retreats ministry. He holds degrees in Theology and Pastoral Care. He is also on the Executive board of the Carmelite Institute for Britain and Ireland (CIBI).
